Most sites would have a third tier that would be what applies here, where you are getting paid with the content but not technically a commercial enterprise. However to me your use case definitely isn’t enterprise. Realistically they can set whatever terms they want for their accounts and if having 2 users to them means “enterprise” then that’s kinda just what it is. You download the clips and send them over. If that’s the case get your editor to cut with those and send you a list of what clips they need once the cut is approved. I don’t know about that specific site but most stock footage sites you can search and download watermarked versions without an account. Has anyone found themselves in a similar situation? How did you proceed? There's no way I can afford $8,000 per year ($670/month). Much of that ends up going back to my editor, and I take a small piece. I make barely over $1,000 per month from YT Adsense, closer to $2500 total if I do some sponsorships. Not sure how important or relevant this is. I'm in violation of their terms by doing so, and they were harping up the indemnification (individual of $20k, but it would be invalid since I'm violating their terms, and enterprise has $1M). The individual license only allows me, and no one else (not even my editor) to log in and use the footage. My YT channel is technically in an LLC, and the individual license doesn't protect me or my business. Long story short, they're saying because I have an editor (who was logging into the same account as me from across the world, which is how they found out), I need to upgrade to an Enterprise account for $8,000 per year (compared to the regular $200/year individual plan they have). Storyblocks reached out to me saying that I had the wrong license. I'm a smallish YouTuber, roughly around 100k subs. Looking for something more local?
